Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Clevu apps, website, and related services (the “Service”), provided by Clevu (“Clevu,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. The Service
Clevu is a personal finance assistant that lets you record and organize your finances in natural language and provides budgets, insights, and suggestions generated with the help of artificial intelligence. The Service is a tool to help you manage your own money. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Not Financial, Investment, or Tax Advice
Clevu provides general, educational information and automated suggestions based on the data you provide. It is not a licensed financial, investment, tax, or legal advisor, and nothing in the Service constitutes professional advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete, and exchange rates, conversions, projections, and figures are estimates. You are responsible for your own financial decisions and should consider consulting a qualified professional. You use the Service and any information it provides at your own risk.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at soporte@clevu.io if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals
The Service offers a free plan and paid plans (Inicial, Pro, and Max), available on monthly and annual terms, as well as optional one-time add-ons. Plan features and limits are described in the Service and may change.
Paid plans are subscriptions that automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may be charged in your local currency.
Payments are processed by third-party providers, which may include Stripe, Mercado Pago, dLocal, and, for in-app purchases, RevenueCat with the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of payment providers.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play must be managed and cancelled through your store account, and refunds for those purchases are subject to the store's policies. For subscriptions billed directly through our other payment providers, refund requests are handled in accordance with applicable law and the provider's policies; contact us at soporte@clevu.io.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with or disrupt the Service;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as permitted by law;
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share;
- Use the Service to provide regulated financial advice to third parties.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding the data you enter), is owned by Clevu and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You retain ownership of the data you enter; you grant us the rights needed to operate the Service and to use de-identified data to improve it.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, for hosting, AI, and payments) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Service or any AI-generated output will meet your requirements or be accurate or reliable.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clevu and its affiliates, officers, employees, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or financial loss, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars (US$50).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Clevu harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
